In combat sports, having respect for your gym, your coaches, your training partners, and even yourself, will help give you the best experience possible. We are a no ego, no nonsense training environment. Come prepared to learn, ready to laugh, equipped to work hard, and remain self aware at all times.
At Crown Kickboxing, we pride ourselves on providing a clean and safe training space for all, but we need your help! Before training, ensure that you've showered and are wearing clean clothes to the gym. If you're coming straight from work, ensure you bring your training clothes with you and shower on-site before class. if you're doing multiple classes, bring a change of shirt/shorts/rashguard. If you have any cuts or abrasions, please make sure to cover them adequately for the duration of the session. And of course, if you have any illness or infection which could spread to your training partners, please stay home until you're recovered.
Having the proper kit can ensure that you and your training partners have a great time together on the mats. Here's what you'll need to bring, or purchase from our gear shop ASAP:

Our classes will get your blood pumping. In preparation, ensure that you have eaten prior to training (particularly in the morning), had plenty of water, and have given yourself the best chance at smashing your class. While having water and fuel during your session is important, being prepared prior will give you the best results. Living in Queensland's humidity has it's challenges, so make sure hydration is at the top of your mind around your training.
